Sourdough recipe On a hot, greased skillet drop sourdough batter making small pancakes. Place a teaspoonful of applesauce in center of each cake. Dribble more sourdough batter covering sauce. Bake until bubbly. Turn carefully, cook until the other side is brown. Serve hot off the griddle with butter, maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
