apples! Our grocer says they are in the stores for about a month.

I have been purchasing Gala
apples for about a year now, and its one of the finest apples I've
ever sunk my teeth into! I grew up next to an apple orchard untill
I was sixteen, and the farmer of that orchard was a very nice man
he let us kids in the neighborhood have two trees one was a golden
delicous and the other I can't for the life of me remember what he
called them. But the apples on this one particular tree grew extremely
big some larger than a soft ball and I'm not joking, they were very
sweet and very juicy and so firm and crisp.It was an older tree, and
a very large tree, with real big limbs.I have very fond memories of
going to that apple tree and climbing onto one of the larger lower
limbs, picking one of the largest apples I could reach and devouring
it, and then another! Anyway I'm sorry to go on and on, but I just
wanted to share this story with you guys and tell you that your gala
apples have brought back all those old feelings, just as soon as I

Sam's. Dillon's has also been carrying them this last year. I was
so excited to see them again this month as they have been out of
them since early Sept. I have a friend who does not like apples

I just got a thank you note in the mail from my
Grandma today. She's 90 years old, and I was helping her with some
grocery shopping during a recent visit to Oklahoma. She was lamenting
the fact that the apples were so bad in her grocery store, and that
