Red Sensation Pears

Red Sensation is a highly-colored Red Bartlett cultivar that appeared in 1940 in Australia. The Red Sensation pear is an attractive, late summer dessert pear, with the same great flavor as a yellow bartlett. The discerning chef knows that red pears add wonderful eye appeal when left unpeeled, and sliced or chopped fresh in salads.
