Fruit From Washington - Estimated Fruit Harvest & Availability Chart

* Indicates approximately when harvest begins for each of the current year's fruit varieties that are generally available throughout the year.

Each fruit variety has its own season. Some are harvested early in the Fall, beginning around mid-August. These include Ginger Gold apples and Red Delicious. Other varieties aren't harvested until well into October, including Fuji and Granny Smith apples.

The fruit availability chart illustrates seasonal availability of Washington fruit. Some varieties such as Red Delicious, Granny Smith and Fuji apples are exceptionally good storage apples so that these are often available year-round.
