This question about how to print
out our recipes just arrived from an alert FruitFromWashington.com
user!
Q: Hi! I am printing out recipes
for breakfast (several listed on the page I pulled up) and am
having trouble...about an inch or so on the right hand side
of the page isn't being printed out completely so I have gotten
only 3/4 of the recipes :-{ Could you help? Thanks! - J.
A: Yes! We do have a good way of
printing recipes without running into the problem you describe!
The trick is not to try to print directly from any of the recipe
pages but instead locate the recipes using our totally cool
and fabulously useful Fruit From Washington Recipes Database!
Here's what you do in four easy
steps:
1. From
any of the FruitFromWashington.com recipe pages, click on the
picture of the bright yellow pear outlined in lime green that
has a message that says Search Recipes (this gets you
straight into the FruitFromWashington Recipes Database). Or
you can click here!
2. On the Fruit From Washington
Recipes Database page you will see a column on the right which
lists all the Recipe Categories on our website. Use your left
mouse button to click on the category that you want to search
(Breakfasts, for instance);
3. Click on the Search button and
wait a few seconds while the database comes up with all recipes
in the category you selected;
4. Proceed to print as you would
normally. These database recipes are formatted to print without
chopping off lines mid-way through. If you want to do another
search, click on the New Search button and it will take you
back to the original Recipes Database screen!
You will also have a choice whether
to print a single recipe or an entire section!
If you have any more questions
feel free to ask. Also, if you have any great recipes that you
would like to submit to our website which use apples and/or
pears, please send them along. We're always on the look-out
for more! Good luck and good cooking!
